no. i think my natural middle-aged restraint and the thought of the unpleasant hangover the following day makes me stop quite a bit before i get sozzled. don't think it's going to happen even when i want to.

of two beers sampled over father's day, highly recommend the port mongo IPA; i think they're from the san diego area. a really exceptionally flavorful american style IPA. i remember harpoon making an IPA this good over ten years ago. harpoon IPA is still good, but they've gone down a bit compared to ten years ago.

just drank some coffee. will take a pee break in 12 minutes, then drink water, strawberry smoothie, then will drink some diet coke with lunch, more water, jasmine tea, more water, followed by more water. I might take 4 pee breaks to drain the lizard during this time. if you want to know the volumes displaced, let me know and I'll regale you.

you're doing yourself a big disservice by killing single malt flavors with ice.

try having it with water at room temp. you can vary the quantity of water as per your preference.

In NYC tonight and tomm. Was in Boston over the weekend. I love Pinot - haven't had any for a while now. Will pick up a couple of bottles at the dutyfree on the way back.

I would strongly advise against trying this at home. I remained drunk for a full day later. Had an utterly miserable time. I've never drunk a Bacardi after that.
