You are posting it here because you only want to see negative things in life (like Aurangazeb doing pooja to a lingam and making mullahs go ape shit).

There are several Carnatic compositions in Tamil, in case you don't know.

Did the famous Carnatic trinity of Muthuswamy Dikshitar, Shyama Shastri, and Thyagaraja compose any songs in Tamil? The article seems to suggest No.

Since the monumental creations of the revered trinity of Tyagaraja, Dikshithar and Syama Sastri are only in Telugu and Sanskrit, the bulk of the students learned only a few Tamil compositions. Languages other than Tamil have held greater sway.
