One view is that a man of Tharoor's stature should not have been made spokesperson of the party in the first place. He should be permitted to articulate his views whatever they may be.

I am not suggesting that Tharoor has the qualities of Vikarna, but the way CONmen are treating him reminds of how Kauravas (the dushta chatushtayam, essentially) treated Vikarna when he questions his older brother's lack of ethics.
