Uncertainty is a daily fact in any corporation. When did a company know hat the future holds. Every company every day takes a risk in continuing to run their business. Has the risk increased in the past two years? There is no uncertainty in reduced consumer demand for most products.

Corporations are hoarding cash and not investing because of lack of demand. The word uncertainty is a code word for 'We are protesting the possibility of tax hike to balance the budget".

Republicans are cutting really needed stimulus govt spending and corporations are hoarding money. Neither is going to help Obama in 2012.

When there is a sucker to pay them off (Govt's Loans), and a whole bunch of corrupt partners to help them (politicians), and the entire population to watch their circus, why wouldn't the industry take advantage?

When DUT and other "pro-capitalists" who made fun of me when I questioned the bonuses made by the wall street looters are awfully quiet when the same looters are getting big bonuses when this economy is so down - mainly due to their own mistakes.
