... Former President APJ Abdul Kalam died on Monday at a hospital in Meghalaya, where he had gone to deliver a lecture at the Indian Institute.
and the Jharkhand minister sis a Shradha last week itself. She, Modi, BJP and RSS caused his death...

I was almost going to remove this thread - bcz SuCHers are above Kalam and would not respond. Perhaps, bcz he was a Southie and did not know Hindi. Worse, he was an Ahmadi and not a true Urdu-Speaking, Upper Caste Musalman.
The Southie Presidents have been great Radhakrishnan, Venkataraman, Kalam, and EVEN VV Giri (towards the end of his term). Contrast this with Patil, Pranab, Zakir Hussain (promoted his family in politics).
Presidency should be reserved for Idly-Sambars to maintain some sort of true independence.

I remember APJ from that speech about how Indians are model citizens in every other country but India. Then blamed the citizens rather than the system. I don't know whether he actually made that speech or not, but the email forwards had his name on it.
