Until the UP elections are over, the Sikular media will be hyperactive trying to malign BJP. Soon, Daadis and Gowns will start complaining about communalism. Burkha Dutt already started her BS on the plight of Muslims and Dalits - two backward-looking vote-banks in UP.

Indian Media is terribly, terribly biased and the readerhip is mainly English-knowledgeable. The media - like everyone and everthing in India - caters to popularity irrespective of truth.

How many times has the media reported Forward Caste man killed, Goundar arrested or a Thevar was denies help, etc...

Is killing a Dalit man more important than killing just any man?

Imagine the hoopla had the mother-daughter raped in UP yesterday had been muslims or Dalits.

The FC must be terrified at even arguing with anyone without asking the caste/religion first. There should be a blanket ban on the mention of any caste in news reporting.

But, that does not make the Indian media unbiased. It is a fashion media presenting what the readers want and competing in a popularity contest. There is no journalism. The entire media belongs to the tabloid category.

Except The Hindu which restricts propagates its commie/iSlami views to the editorials.
