The Hindu King Sasanka, of Bengal, won eternal condemnation from history when he killed thousands of Buddhist monks, ransacked Buddhist monasteries, and cut down the sacred tree (digging up and burning its roots) under which the Buddha had attained enlightenment.

should present day Buddhists emulate Vakavaka's hatred for muslims and declare that they hate present day Hindus for what Sasanka did ?
