The White House on Tuesday defended President Trump's decision to help write his eldest son's statement about his election-year meeting with a Russian lawyer, calling it "something any father would do."
White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders disputed the fact that the statement to the New York Times contained inaccurate or misleading information, telling reporters it "is true."

So it happened. And yet, the president's lawyer said this on TV, multiple times:
"I do want to be clear — that the president was not involved in the drafting of the statement and did not issue the statement."

These guys lie so much, and their first reaction when new stories about their wrongdoing break is to accuse others of lying.

As the story of the meeting with the Russians was breaking, Donald Trump and his White House colluded with Fox News to spread a Fake News story about the death of Seth Rich.

There may be a case law where lying to news/public is not a crime. Lying to federal investigators may be a crime but if you did not know it was a lie/false info and your intention was not to mislead, then it is not a crime!
