If you happen to meet two of the Jones sisters (this assumes that the two are random selections from the set of all the Jones sisters), it is an exactly even-money bet that both girls have blue eyes. What is your best guess as to the total number of blue-eyed Jones sisters?

meenakshi, anjali, and aparna are blue-eyed; kalyani is not. and they are the jagatharakshan sisters, not the jones sisters.

i nearly overlooked an opportunity for national integration and unity here. the jagatharakshan sisters are also called the jahanpanah sisters. i think both mean "protector/refuge of the world."
