1. Casts doubt on London's readiness for Olympic games (he was only talking about the off and on rain screwing up things - like extinguishing that torch).

2. Tells reporters about his previously undisclosed meeting with MI-6.

3. Asked about his foreign policy positions, he declined to answer saying he would avoid talking about talking about foreign policy when he is on foreign soil.

4. Attended a dinner (cum fundraiser) hosted by banks under investigation in the rate (libor) fixing scandal.

Notwithstanding these gaffes I still liked Romney poking a finger and puncturing the snobbish a$$holes' pride. Couple of days ago they themselves admitted they were 3500 security personnel short to provide security for the village, and they had to draft the British Army to fill in. Weren't these British guys having field day criticizing India for its unpreparedness for hosting Commonwealth Games couple of years ago?

Yes, the British press and officialdom were in the lead in criticizing India regarding the Commonwealth Games. So this is sweet irony indeed.

Yeah, Indians got criticized by the British for incompetence, and the British got criticized by the Americans, also for incompetence.
Also, have you seen the opening ceremonies. Totally unimpressive, even with Danny Boyle (the Slumdog Millionaire guy) directing the show.
