Lets not get too up in arms here.

We (in the West) eat pig flesh, cow flesh, chicken flesh, fish flesh, and even hot dogs, which are... umm... leftovers lets call it.

Human meat is meat.

Its odd that he murdered someone just to eat them, but we murder millions of animals for food everyday. I'm not a vegetarian, but I also don't pretend that humans are categorically different from other mammals. All mammals care for their young, form emotional bonds, and feel pain both physically and mentally.

No one here should be eating a hamburger or steak tonight, and then commenting on how deplorable it is to eat flesh (albeit human flesh).

OK proceed to ream me for my insensitivity, callousness, or insincerity. It'll be ironic.

1. Carnivores don't eat their own species. A lion doesn't eat other lions.

2. Carnivores eat herbivores. Carnivores don't eat other carnivores. General laws of nature. (exceptions probably may apply)

I remember reading somewhere that a cannibalist describing human meat tasting is similar to chicken in texture and taste...

No wonder most humans are like chickens when it comes to behavior.
