NI Vs SI and Sinhalese Vs Tamils Empty NI Vs SI and Sinhalese Vs Tamils

I have a co-worker who is a Tamil from from Sri Lanka.

One day, I asked his opinion on the future of the Tamils in that country.

He said it was bleak.

Somewhere in the middle of the conversation about the origins of Sinhala-Tamil fighting, he said that unlike Tamils who work hard and are ambitious, the Sinhalese are basically party animals.

"They are not stupid. They are just happy people. That is why Tamils literally dominated every field whether civil service or other professions," he said.

No wonder this kind of attitude has engendered hatred towards Tamils there.

I think if let NI Vs SI feelings get out of hand, we will end up with a situation similar to Sri Lanka.
