Its good to see many of us taking up gymming somewhat seriously. Which exercise shoes do you use? I recently bought a pair of Asics shoes, on the advice of someone, and i was so happy with it that i've ordered another one. Very comfortable and very light. So much better than the Nike shoes i used to wear.

I have Asics Gel something (I always forget brand/make/model names)... Got them for cushiony sole since I have ankle issues. I use orthotics with them. Overall, no complains. Love them.

Adidas and Nike are two brands known to be the last word in shoes German and US based respectively

I like New Balance because it makes shoes for my narrow heels

Asic shoes are terribly expensive....don't expect to fly in them please

If you run regularly it is really worth it to get good shoes. ASic, New Balance, Brooks, Sauchony all seem to be good. My experience with Nike/Adidas was not so good but again I was running on $50 models. The New Balance cheaper ones do not help you much, but the more expensive (higher model numbers) do help (at least for me). I do not know if Adidas/nike expensive models are any better.

the guy at nordstrom told me that Asics makes the best running shoes. its very convenient to order from amazon--u have 90 days to return it if you're not happy with it for any reason.
