I saw the headline of this article and wondered, "it is already a full year since the Occupy protests began?" Turns out even reputable newspapers like The Guardian are using terms like "six-month anniversary." Is this new usage, or has this been acceptable usage for a long time I just didn't know?

a six month anniversary makes no sense

maybe should be called semi anniversary or six monthversary

better still a " hundred eighty twoand a half daysery "

lol i am guilty of this nitwit scheme too

my husband and i still celebrate monthly the day we had our first date
