i am highly irritable these days, if that can be a symptom. other than that, i am indeed eating lesser than i used to. skip or skim atleast one meal daily. but still 5 lbs sounds huge.

i will go for an annual this sat.

no, 5 lbs in 10 days is not huge. it also depends on what hours you are taking your weight. fasting-morning and post-dinner weight can differ by as much as 3 kgs. i have lost 10 kgs in 2 weeks but i am an exceptional case.

5 lb in 10 days is not huge. As a percentage of your total body weight, 5% is not very significant. Ya if you were 110 lbs and lost 5 lbs, I would be alarmed. Calm the F down and don't go off running for an annual physical that you get done six times a year any way.

If you drop ANOTHER 5 lbs in the next 10 days, then go get a physical.

one can jog 24/7 but still if eats more than what the body needs, the weight will go up.

20% of weight loss secret is exercise and 80% is in eating less and less and less until the needle moves downward.

Of course...one should eat less, but eat right (which is very important).

Propa: You are extremely brilliant. So, choose the modern era (junk food, sugary pop, TV, irregular sleep patterns, diabetes, hypertension, obesity, etc.). Obesity is a bigger problem these days than in pre-video-camera/automobile era. In our generation, hygiene has improved. But Not everything in the past was bad.

Speaking of going back - whole- & multi- grain bread (and pasta)..... are becoming popular! Refined sugar and saturated fats are taking a beating!

lots of people do this before they get on the scale. you don't need a doc.

Thanks. Did the keto stix test. No color changes. Guess I am just eating lesser without feeling that hungry. Or maybe some other thyroid like issue. *shrug* will worry only if I see bigger symptoms now.
